I was searching for a coffee maker that would do the K Cups but I didn't want to pay the price for those Kuerig coffee makers, which can be expesive. When I saw this one on Amazon, and checked it out, I figured I'd give it a try. I'm so glad I did. This does it all. It takes all the K Cups out there, plus it fits the Ekobrew Stainless Steel reuseable K Cup, so that I can have my favorite ground coffee whever I want. It's a great design, works terrific, I programmed mine to turn itself off after two hours, and now everyone in my family can enjoy their hot cup whenever they want. I haven't tried making iced coffee or tea yet, but pretty sure it can do that also. At first I bought the huge packages of the "simple cups, filters, and lids", but found that when I snapped the lid on the cup, sometimes they would split apart, then I'd have to redo it. Also You can only use the simple cups twice, after punching the holes in it, top and bottom, you can't use them again, so I went to the Ekobrew stainless steel reusable, and love it.
